Matt joined Hamstreet & Associates in 2020 bringing 30 years of experience in technology, agriculture, and manufacturing sectors. His background includes technology management roles spanning strategic planning, product management, and marketing. He has built a worldwide technical support team, stabilized a company selling construction estimating software, led the design and manufacturing of custom golf products, and managed software development and technology for a health-tech startup. 

Matt is recognized and admired for the insight and care of his analyses, his critical evaluation skills, and his integrity and professionalism. At Hamstreet & Associates he has been responsible for assessing the capabilities of clients’ technical and manufacturing infrastructure, evaluating and improving CRM and ERP software implementations, and assessing residential real estate held in foreclosure.

Earlier in his career Matt worked at Intel for 15 years, rising from a technical marketing engineer to positions in software product management and strategic planning for products spanning the client PC, server, and automotive market segments. 

Matt earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Oregon State University and an MBA from Babson College. He is active in the Oregon Entrepreneurs Network (OEN) and over the past decade has spent hundreds of hours as a volunteer raising money for wildlife conservation. Matt has also held local leadership positions with the 501(c)(3) organizations, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and Ducks Unlimited.
